This epic tribute show is packed with dozens of memorable Lennon songs and timeless Beatles classics we all grew up with.  In "LENNON SHOW," Dennis Stephen brings the audience back to a wonderful time, paying homage to the musical genius of John Lennon in an entertaining, electrifying, "must-see" concert event.  From the earliest Beatles songs to John Lennon's final solo career, Dennis Stephen covers it all.

Performing Lennon's vocals and playing guitar live, Dennis recreates the look, sound and spirit of the 1960s and 70s in a fun-filled show for audiences of all ages.

                            WHY I CREATED THIS SHOW

I grew up in listening to Beatles music. It was the soundtrack of my childhood. So channeling a music legend and genius such as John Lennon became a satisfying and enjoyable experience for me.

As a longtime musician and songwriter, I always felt a very special connection to this most imaginative, emotional and controversial Beatle, and I can not think of another entertainer whom I would want to honor this way. I believe that the most influential entertainer of the 20th century is deserving of a moving tribute show such as this.

Developing "LENNON SHOW" was a big challenge. Reflecting the immeasurable impact that John Lennon made to rock and roll, and to popular music is certainly not easy to do. Although I already had these memorable songs etched in my head for decades, I still had to dissect the old Beatles recordings and carefully study their concert videos to hear and see exactly which vocal parts John sang, which guitar parts he played, and how he presented himself on stage during each song.  This enabled me to sing and play the songs in the true Lennon spirit, just as he did.

My goal is to accurately represent and replicate John Lennon’s contribution to every song as he did in live shows, on TV shows, and in the original recordings we so fondly remember. No details were overlooked, including my use of the same vintage guitar models that Lennon used with the Beatles and in his solo career.

The songs that I perform in this tribute show include many timeless Beatles classics like She Loves You, Twist and Shout, Ticket to Ride, Strawberry Fields Forever, Revolution, as well as selected songs from Lennon’s solo career such as Imagine, Woman, and Stand by Me.

Bringing these incredible songs to life in a live performance, and recreating the “magic” of the era is what I strive to do every night in "LENNON SHOW," allowing the audience to relive the excitement and wonder of the 1960s and 70s.  For some shows I add vintage video footage of John Lennon and the Beatles to my performances, making the event even more memorable.

John Lennon was a true musical genius who left us all too soon, but his legacy of truly awesome songs has already been with us for 50 years, and is sure to live on for many generations to come. His music is just that good! See you soon at one of my shows, and we will relive the magic together!
